9-Day Cannabis Culture Celebration Event Comes to San Francisco in April
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – The San Francisco Travel Association recently announced “Evergreen San Francisco” a multi–day cannabis culture celebration to be held in the city during the unofficial 4/20 holiday.
According to KTVU, the nine-day event will commence on April 15th and run through the 24th. The event will feature over 25 local cannabis businesses and immersive experiences like a mural walk, scavenger hunt, live music, cannabis tours, and more.
The first-ever event a the result of a collaboration between the travel association, San Francisco Cannabis Retailers Alliance, San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, Fisherman’s Wharf Community Benefit District, and San Francisco Cannabis Equity Group.
After the city’s long-standing 4/20 ‘Hippie Hill’ gathering was cancelled for two years due to COVID, they are looking to embrace the event this year with hopes that it will bring more tourists to the Bay Area. Instead of barricading the area, the city will be offering “Music and event programming” at the park’s Robin Williams Meadow throughout the event.
