Boston Beer Company Launches New Cannabis-infused Iced Teas

BOSTON, MA – The maker of iconic beverages like Truly Hard Seltzer and Samuel Adams, The Boston Beer Company, recently announced the launch of TeaPot, the company’s first line of cannabis-infused iced teas.

The beverages, which are set for release in select Canadian provinces this summer, blend high-quality teas and cannabis to enhance specific times of the day. Each can is 12 ounces and contains about 5 milligrams of THC. The first flavor “Good Day Iced Tea” is made with lemon black tea and infused with Pedro’s Sweet Sativa, an Ontario-based producer.

“Each can is precisely dosed for social gatherings with friends and family. We think TeaPot is the best-tasting cannabis beverage on the market, and we can’t wait for people to try it – we think they’ll agree,” says head of Cannabis at Boston Beer Co., Paul Weaver.

Although an official timeline has not been set, Weaver promised TeaPot will be available for purchase in the U.S. before long.

“Make no mistake: we’re an American company, our business is built on success in the American market, so when we do have the opportunity to enter the U.S. market, be sure that we will,” he said.
