CSU East Bay and Green Flower Team Up to Educate Cannabis Businesses
CALIFORNIA – Cal State East Bay is addressing the challenges faced by licensed cannabis sellers in California with the launch of a comprehensive program. This initiative aims to equip these businesses with the necessary knowledge to navigate the growing, taxation, and insurance regulations, ensuring their legitimacy.
According to NBC Bay Area, despite being a significant contributor to the national legal marijuana market, California has experienced a decline in its cannabis production.
In the previous year, legal cannabis sales in the state totaled approximately $5.3 billion, reflecting an over 8% decrease from the previous year.
To address these challenges, CSU East Bay has partnered with the Green Flower training platform to introduce four certificate programs, including Healthcare and Medicine, Business, Compliance and Risk Management, and Agriculture and Horticulture.
The first classes are set to commence in November, allowing interested individuals to enroll. Each program spans 24 weeks and costs approximately $3,000.
