Farmington Hills hosting “Cannabis Conversations” for local community
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – “Cannabis Conversations” to be hosted at Farmington Hills City Council chambers in October to give the community an opportunity to ask questions and gain information about the marijuana industry.
According to The Oakland Press, these two public outreach and feedback sessions will be held on Oct. 3 6 to 8 p.m. and Oct. 4 9 to 11:00 a.m. Farmington Hills City Council chambers are located at 31555 W. 11 Mile Rd.
The sessions will provide information based on earlier efforts this year to gather data regarding the cannabis industry operations, such as production and retail distribution. Other topics of the sessions include: potential impact of the industry on public safety, discussing community concerns, and allowing community members to ask questions. People can submit questions in advance and public comments will be limited to three minutes each.
For those unable to attend in-person, the meetings will be live-streamed on YouTube. Recordings will also be made and available to the public.
