Missouri Adults Allowed to Legally Possess Marijuana
KANSAS CITY, MO – As of Dec. 8, adults 21 and older can legally possess up to 3 ounces of marijuana; however, they can’t purchase without a medical license in the state until next year.
While recreational marijuana is legal now in Missouri, it won’t be until sometime in 2023 that adults can legally purchase it in the state, according to FOX4.
Currently, dispensaries are applying for comprehensive licenses to be able to sell recreational marijuana. The Missouri’s Department of Health and Senior Services has 60 days to review and approve or reject all license requests.
