MN House Voting On Recreational Marijuana Bill Monday
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – The Minnesota State House will vote on a bill that legalizes or declines legalization of recreational marijuana on Monday.
Representative Zack Stephenson, the bill’s author, announced this on 4/20, according to CBS NEWS.
The bill aims to legalize recreational marijuana, establish the state’s Office of Cannabis Management, determine licensing requirements and rules for cannabis businesses, sets the marijuana sales tax amounts, and automatically expunge records related to low-level cannabis convictions.
After approval in the House, the bill would need to be approved by the Senate before becoming law.
