State Commission Voting on Georgia’s Medicinal Marijuana Program
ATLANTA, GA – After several years, a state commission will finally vote on Wednesday on the rules and regulations regarding the state’s medicinal marijuana medical program.
The vote will occur at 4 p.m. and if the rules are approved they will take effect on February 14, according to Axios Atlanta.
Rules and regulations being voted on include: where dispensaries are allowed to be located, transportation of marijuana, and other various details regarding medicinal marijuana.
Currently, there are around 25,000 Georgia residents are currently on the registry awaiting the rules to pass so they can legally purchase medicinal marijuana.
