Ten States to Vote Now Through 2024 on Legalizing Cannabis

From this year’s election through the 2024 election, ten states will be voting on legalizing adult recreational marijuana. This number could increase over the next two years.

In the 2022 election, Arkansas, Maryland, Missouri, North Dakota, and South Dakota will all put to vote if adult recreational marijuana should be legal in their respective states, according to Reuters.

Furthermore, in either the 2023 or 2024 election Oklahoma, Florida, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Ohio will vote as well on if adult recreational marijuana should be legalized.

Voters across the United States in certain cities will also be voting on if marijuana possession laws should be decriminalized and if licensed cannabis retailers should be allowed to sell in their cities.
