Toronto Allows Cannabis Deliveries Through Uber Eats

TORONTO, CANADA – Starting Monday, Toronto is now allowing Uber Eats customers to receive cannabis deliveries.

This is the first time cannabis is available through a third-party platform, according to Axios.

Due to Canada’s cannabis laws, this service is only available to anyone ages 19 and older. Age and sobriety will be confirmed for each delivery.

Instead of an independent driver, a cannabis staff retailer will make the delivery. Currently, there are only three retailers involved with the program. Those are Hidden Leaf Cannabis, Minerva Cannabis and Shivaa’s Rose.
