How to Make Marijuana Bath Bombs at Home

Baths are fantastic stress relievers, but they are even better with homemade cannabis-infused bath bombs! You can make your own magic bath bombs using your favorite essential oils such as vanilla or orange. They are simple and fun to make, and you can customize their scents and shapes.

What are the Benefits of Using Cannabis Bath Bombs?

Topical cannabis products are becoming increasingly popular as people learn more about the benefits of using cannabis for their overall health and wellness. Cannabis has antifungal and antibacterial properties that benefit the skin, and CBD is helpful for soothing aching muscles.

Bath bombs provide relief from physical aches and pain as well as mental stress without giving you a psychoactive high. For some people with chronic pain, topical cannabis manages symptoms more effectively than other forms of cannabis consumption.

How to Make Infused Bath Bombs

Bath bombs can be made with many ingredients you may already have in your home including homemade cannabis infused oil. If you have not already infused your coconut oil with cannabis, follow these directions before you proceed with the main part of the infused bath bomb recipe.

Equipment

  • Large mixing bowl
  • A stirring spoon
  • measuring spoons
  • Bath bomb molds. You can also use medium to large cookie cutters to make fun shapes like stars or hearts. You can always hand roll them into spheres if you don’t have cookie cutters or molds on hand.

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of cannabis-infused oil
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or olive oil
  • 1 cup of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup of Epsom salts
  • 1/2 cup of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of water
  • 1 teaspoon of lavender essential oil or another scent of your choice

Instructions

  • Measure out 3 tablespoons of infused oil for this recipe, and then store the remainder of infused oil in the fridge. ½ cup of oil and 3.5 grams of raw flower yields about 23 teaspoons of THC infused oil, so you will have plenty of infused coconut oil to make other cannabis recipes.
  • Slowly mix the dry ingredients together (baking soda, Epsom salts, and cornstarch).
  • Add the coconut and infused oils.
  • Add the dash of water. If the mixture is too dry, you can add additional water, but no more than ½ teaspoon at a time. The consistency should hold shape if you manipulate the mixtures with your hands or press them into a mold.
  • You can add more or less of the infused oil to adjust to your preference and potency levels. This old-fashioned method of infusing CBD and THC into the oil is reliable, but the most time consuming of the basic infusion methods..
  • However, you may consider using a LĒVO home infusion machine if you want to get serious about regularly cooking and creating with infused oils and butter. Home infusers make cannabis creations easy to make on a regular basis because they provide greater accuracy with CBD and THC concentration. Not to mention, saving you a heck of a lot of money over time!
