Concentrates
Concentrates contain the more in-demand and sought-for properties of cannabis. These also consist of highly potent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), similar to the texture of butter or honey. Concentrates are then inhaled and vaporized through dabbing or vape pens. These are typically produced in commercial establishments or at home as long as the correct devices are used. Marijuana concentrates are produced in various ways, such as water-based processing, dry ice processing, combining pressure with heat, or using flammable solvents.
The latter is the most popular method of producing concentrates due to its reported longer-lasting effects. Aside from butter and honey, concentrates may also have physical characteristics similar to an amber-colored solid, lip balm, or liquid wax. The THC levels of marijuana concentrates can range from 40 to 80 percent, making it four times more potent than the typical top-shelf marijuana.
