Dispensary

A dispensary, or cannabis dispensaries, are fixed or mobile facilities run following local and state laws. These facilities sell cannabis and its products and derivatives for sale. These can be either business or non-profit, operating to give access to consumers cannabis safely and legally. This is where budtenders work and educate their clients and customers about cannabis products and their safe consumption.

The budtender will also give recommended dosages and modes of delivery at this venue. In some places, locals still refer to dispensaries as pharmacies or apothecaries. This is because they only operate in states where marijuana is legal and has the same purpose as pharmacies.
