Kief

Kief is a powdery substance that accumulates in the leaves and buds of cannabis plants. It comprises tiny trichomes, crystal-like structures that produce the plant’s cannabinoids and terpenes. Kief can be collected by using a screen or sieve to separate it from the flowers and leaves of the plant.

It is then either smoked or ingested in some way. Kief is considered one of the most potent forms of cannabis, as it contains a high concentration of THC. When smoking kief, it is often mixed with tobacco or cannabis buds, allowing for a more even burn. Kief can also be used to make hash, which is a concentrated form of cannabis that contains all the plant’s trichomes. Hash can be smoked, vaporized, or ingested. To make hash, the kief is pressed and heated, allowing the trichomes to bind together and form a solid mass. Hash oil is another concentrate that can be made from kief.
